The Naples, Florida-based New Wave of Old-School Heavy Metal band KINGS OF HIGH IRON formed in January 2019 with the purpose to write, record, and perform high-energy hard-rocking/classic-metal songs that featured thunderous riffs and catchy melodic hooks. Vocalist Craig Swiger, twin guitarists Rikk Morosini and Jim Miller, bassist Troy Royer, and drummer Emmett Hall traversed the SWFL cover scene before coalescing into a focused and dynamically driven unit that began writing for their debut album, “Sting of Steel.”
